I HATE MY BEST FRIEND !

So, I have to work on New Years Eve, and I was upset that I wouldn't be able to go out and party that night. So, I decided to throw an 'Early New Years Eve Party' at my house, this Tuesday. Everyone that I had invited said that they were coming. Today, my best friends boyfriend came online and told me that he and my best friend couldn't come on Tuesday. I asked him why, and he replied 'I don't know.' My best friend then came online, and I asked her. She replied 'I have other plans, sorry.' I asked her what could be so important, that she ditched me. She replied 'It's just some thing. Sorry that I can't come.' The next part of this is the best. I texted/messaged/emailed/Facebooked all of the other people that were supposed to come, saying "****** and her boyfriend can't come to the party, are you guys still coming?' Within an hour, I had 17 new emails. All replying to my question. Every single one of them said 'Sorry, but I'm not, because *so and so* isn't coming'. So, there was a chain reaction, and I no longer have a party, at which I was going to see a lot of my old friends, and the person that I am deeply attracted to.
